Shots from inside vehicles are hard to pull off. One needs to make the shot from inside the car significant. Otherwise it just seems lazy... Get out of the car and take the photo. But, You have done a good job here using your environment to convey a sense of emotion or a presence felt. I think you did a great job setting it up.
I personally don't get any romantic feelings from this shot... But Loneliness. It is a sad, lonely photograph in my head. I would bet that you set it up that way. The rain, the unopened flower and how it lays there...lifeless. The focal point also convey to me that the POV of the shot is only focused on the loss or absent feelings of companionship. The busy world outside is not even registering, but all focus is on the sad, velvety flower.
I like the concept, not so much the composition. I think it would have worked better if the flower was "mirrored", having the stem coming from the left and the flower itself on the right and a little more centered. Or if the traffic was on the other side. My eye wants to leave the page the way it is now.

When you uploaded this picture and I saw the small thumb, I immediately thought I would like it. It represents a typical rainy day in a city, but with the flower in the front a warm, comfortable feeling is resonating. Considering the view I guess you took the picture out of a car? And even so I still have the feeling that I, as the observer, am sitting in a restaurant, drinking a cup of tea and talking to that one person who gave me the flower that has been placed on the windowsill. Being overwhelmed by those feelings and nonetheless seeing the weather outside... a perfect interplay in this picture!
By the way, I like the bokeh of the trafic lights as well. :aww:
Some technical points have been the reason why I didn't fave it, though: There are no structured lines, it would be great when the borders of the image would be parallel to the border of the window. The surface below the flower. The blur of the drops in the lower left corner of the window.
But those few things aren't facts that deform the picture, those are just suggestions for improvement, because all in all I think you captured a great moment.

i was trying to understand my reasoning for liking the spring/rain weather earlier this morning. and it's because of the dim sunlight and rain hitting windows. this is great. and thankyou for my answer :)
